In Spring 2017 We will have these Awesome Prizes in 4 categories:

The prizes will be awarded in collaboration with the USF IEEE Student Chapter. Winning Makecourse projects will be announced after the final grades are posted. A single project can win multiple prizes, if justified by its awesomeness level.

1) Most Awesome Project Prize:

This prize will be awarded for the most creatively awesome project. A winning project is based on a creative and unique idea, has great finish and works very well.

2) Most Awesome Finish Prize

This prize will be awarded for the most awesomely finished project. A winning project has the looks and the flawless finish of a professionally designed object. The project also works well.

3) Most Awesome Video PriZe:

4) Most Awesome Instructable Prize:

This prize will be awarded for the best final (Deliverable 8) project video. A winning video is flawlessly produced and tells an appealing and/or entertaining story about the project.
This prize will be awarded for the best Instructable. A winning Instructable gives in-depth information on how to build the project. All necessary information and details are given to enable another Maker to reproduce the project. The Instructable is well-written and has an appealing structure. It includes informative and high-quality photos and/or videos about the project.
