Week 9: Segment 2: Creating a technical drawing in Autodesk Inventor

This segment focuses on creating a technical drawing in Autodesk Inventor from a part that has already been created.  Students will learn how to place views within a drawing then correctly dimension the drawing based off of the features from the created part.

Goals:

  • Create a technical drawing from a part already created in Inventor
In-Class Project:
  • Create a sample technical drawing from a part you will have/have already printed using the 3D printer
