Lesson Plan: Week 13

In Week 13 we will do the following (please, click on the Segment links below to access the course materials):
Segment 1:
  • Learn how to use the Arduino 'Watchdog Timer' to generate automated system interrupts in case the Arduino enters an unanticipated condition, like getting stuck in an infinite loop.
Segment 2:
  • Learn to use power saving 'Sleep Modes' on the Arduino. There are six sleep modes that result in various degrees of power saving, while providing numerous 'wake up modes' based on external inputs and internal timed events.


Deliverable 6
For Deliverable 6 students will submit a short 2-3 min video discussing the Arduino sketch used for their projects. The Arduino sketch needs to have all functions implemented that are needed to make the project work.
